3.7. Replacement of the RKPP gearbox oil


  1. Replacement of gearbox oil has to be made in strict accordance with the Schedule of routine maintenance of the car (see the Section Schedule of Routine Maintenance).
  2. Prepare a reserve of fresh gearbox oil of the required grade, drain capacity of suitable volume, a wrench of the corresponding size and a stock of pure rags / old newspapers.
  3. Oil has to merge, being previously heated-up during a short trip up to the normal working temperature, - hot oil has higher fluidity and better washes away slime and other deposits. Having warmed up the transmission, tire out the car on a platform / hang out strictly horizontally on the elevator.
  4. Turn out a jellied/control stopper of a case of RKPP (see the Section Check of Level of Working Liquids).
  5. Turn out the drain stopper located in the lower part of a case of a box and lower oil in the prepared capacity.
  6. After the effluence of oil stops, wipe a drain stopper, screw it on the regular place and tighten with the required effort (30 Nanometers), - do not forget to replace a sealing washer.
  7. Gas station of fresh gearbox oil is made through a control/jellied opening (see the Section Check of Level of Working Liquids).

Each producer at production of oil uses own basic basis and additives, - do not mix oil of different producers!

  1. Make a short trip after which examine drain and jellied/control traffic jams of a case of RKPP on existence of signs of development of leaks on the car.
