4.5.8. Removal and installation of the pallet of a case

Details of installation of the pallet of a case and oil pump

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. Hang out the car above the ground.
  3. Merge motive oil (see the Head the Current leaving and service), then screw into place and tighten a drain stopper with the required effort, - in case of need replace its sealing washer.
  1. Hooking the thin pallet, or other suitable tool, accurately separate the pallet from a maslootrazhatel, - try not to bend a fixing flange of the pallet and not to damage a maslozaborny tube.

Do not enter an edge of the pallet between a maslootrazhatel and the interfaced surface of the block at all!


  1. Turn out four fixing bolts and remove the maslozabornik equipped with the mesh filter, - try not to bend a maslootrazhatel and not to damage a maslozaborny tube.
  1. Turn out fixture and accurately remove a maslootrazhatel.
  1. Carefully clear the interfaced surfaces of the removed components, having completely removed from them traces of oil, dirt and the remains of old sealant.
  2. Examine the pallet on existence of cracks, deformations and other mechanical damages. In case of need make the corresponding recovery repair, or replace the pallet.
  1. Estimate a condition of a drain stopper of the pallet, in case of need make its replacement.

The sealing washer of a drain stopper will be reasonable to be replaced regardless of its state.

  1. Check a condition of a maslootrazhatel and the mesh filter of a maslozabornik. Carefully clean components, in case of identification of irreversible damages make replacement.

Installation

Pallet vystupaniye size for borders of a face surface of a case of the engine should not exceed 1.5 mm.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Impose a sealant pillow like Loctite Ultra Blue 5900 with a section of diameter of 2-4 mm on the interfaced surface of a landing flange of a maslootrazhatel and press the last to a case of the engine which interfaced surface also has to be smoothed carefully out and fat-free. Track that sealant was imposed from the inside of fixing openings and with an overlap on the ends. Install a maslootrazhatel on the engine block.

Pressing of components has to be made not later than in 30 minutes after putting sealant.

  1. Establish into place a maslozabornik and tighten four bolts of its fastening with the required effort (7.0 ÷ 9.8 Nanometers).
  1. Working in a manner, similar described, apply sealant on the interfaced surface of a landing flange of the pallet, then press the last to a maslootrazhatel, screw fixing bolts and, moving in a diagonal order from the center outside (see an illustration), in stages tighten them with the required effort (7.0 ÷ 9.5 Nanometers). Cut off the laying supporting limits of a back cover, - try not to damage the interfaced cover surface.
  1. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Do not forget about need of observance of requirements of Specifications of the Head Dvigatel to efforts of tightening of carving fixture.
  2. Fill in fresh engine oil in the engine.
  3. In conclusion start the engine and check it for existence of signs of development of leaks through joints of the installed components.
