4.5.9. Removal, installation and service of the oil pump

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make dismantle of the components impeding the implementation of the procedure (see appropriate sections in the present chapter and the Section Removal and installation of masloraspylitel in the Head the Current leaving and service).
  2. Turn out fixing screws and remove the oil pump.
  3. Transfer pump assembly to a workbench, turn out seven fixing screws and uncover (1).
  1. Having weakened by means of an impact driver, turn out fixing screws and remove a back cover of pump assembly.

Try not to damage a pump housing at an otpuskaniye of screws!

  1. Take internal and external gear wheels.
  2. Take a lock ring and remove components of the reducing valve (a saddle, a spring and a plunger).
  3. Take an epiploon, - the epiploon is subject to replacement without fail (see the Section Replacement of Epiploons of a Bent Shaft).
  4. Attentively examine the case and a cover of the pump, in case of identification of cracks, deformations and other mechanical damages replace defective components.
  5. Estimate degree of wear of a plunger of assembly of the reducing valve, in case of need make its replacement.
  6. Check a condition of a spring of valvate assembly, in case of detection of defects make replacement.
  7. Make control measurements:
  • Measure the size of an axial side play of gear wheels.
  • Measure sizes of gaps between tops of teeths of gear wheels and a crescent insert.
  • Measure the size of a side play of landing of an external gear wheel in the working camera of the case.
  1. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications of the Head Dvigatel, in case of need make the corresponding replacements.
  2. Assembly is made as it should be the return to an order of dismantle of components. Before landing in pump assembly oil the NEW epiploon pure motive. Track that fixing screws were tightened with the required effort.
  1. Having greased with lithium lubricant of the NGLI No2 type, establish the NEW sealing ring on pump assembly.
  1. Impose a continuous pillow of sealant on the interfaced surface of pump assembly.
  2. Press the pump on the engine and fix it by bolts, having tightened the last with the required effort (M8 bolts: 16 ÷ 23 Nanometers, M10 bolts: 32 ÷ 47 Nanometers). Remove the sealant supporting edge of a joint of components.
  3. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Do not forget about need of observance of requirements of Specifications of the Head Dvigatel to efforts of tightening of carving fixture.
  4. Fill in fresh engine oil in the engine.
  5. Start the engine and check it for existence of signs of development of leaks through joints of the installed components.
