6.3.2. Checks of a power supply system
At identification of signs of violation of serviceability of functioning of system of injection of fuel, first of all check reliability of delay in all nipple connections of a path of a power supply system. Make sure that the elementary neglect to performing procedures of regular service is not a cause of infringement, - visually estimate a condition of the air cleaner and fuel filter, perform measurement of working gaps of valves, compression pressure in cylinders, etc. Make sure of passability of hoses of system of ventilation of a case (PCV).
If after conducting the listed above checks it is not possible to establish a cause of infringement, drive away the car on HUNDRED for carrying out Bol of detailed diagnostics, - in the left back corner of a motive compartment there is a diagnostic DLC socket equipped with a protective cover for connection of the special scanner by means of which reading of codes of malfunctions (DTC) revealed by system of onboard self-diagnostics and brought in the processor memory of the module of management is made.

Alternatively reading of the DTC codes can be made by means of the personal computer equipped with a special payment with the established software, - for connection of the computer to the DLC socket the special cable is used. By reading of codes the operator can easily reveal even the hidden refusals. |

Remember that any nonprofessional intervention in the device of a control system of the engine is accompanied by risk of irreversible failure of electronic components! |
Check of turns of idling
The description of the procedure of check of turns of idling is provided in the Section Check of Turns of idling of the Head the Current leaving and service. In case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Section Adjustment of Turns of Idling).

Checks of TNVD
Check of installation of phases of gas distribution (injection moments)
|
|
- Turn the engine in the normal direction so that a tag "11 ° ATDC" (11 ° after VMT) on a pulley of a bent shaft was combined with the basic index.
|
- Disconnect fuel-supply lines of nozzles from TNVD.
|
- Remove a cap of a hydraulic head from TNVD and install on its place the special dial measuring instrument so that its plunger rested against an end face of a plunger of pump assembly.
|
- Consider the indication of the measuring instrument, - the required result makes about 2.0 mm.
|
- Carefully turning a pulley of a bent shaft in the direction counterclockwise, achieve stabilization of indications of the measuring instrument (about 30 ÷ of 35 degrees).
|
- Nullify the measuring instrument and slightly turning a pulley to the right-to the left, make sure of stability of its zero indication in the insignificant angular range.
|
|
Check of height of a working ledge of a cam of the device of adjustment of phases of gas distribution
|
- Execute check of installation of phases of gas distribution.
- Rotating a bent shaft in the normal direction (clockwise), consider the maximum indication of the dial measuring instrument.
- If the result of measurement makes less than 2.2 mm, replace an eccentric disk, or roller assembly.

Check of serviceability of functioning of the locking valve (FCV) of a power supply system
|
- Serviceability of functioning of the locking valve of a power supply system (the fuel cut-off valve) is confirmed by stability of turns of the working engine and non-failure operation of its stop at a detachment from the electrical wiring valve.
- In case of need replace components of valvate assembly.

Check of the electronic regulator (GE) and information sensors
|
|
- Disconnect the corresponding electrical wiring from TNVD.
|
|
|
CSP sensors and temperatures of fuel
|
- By means of an ohmmeter check correctness of distribution of resistance between contact plugs of the socket. Compare results of measurements to data of the table.

- Measure resistance between socket plugs N and I. If the result of measurement differs from the required value (0.6 Ohms at 23 °C), make sure available conductivity between the plug N of the regulator and plugs No. 2 and No. 15 ECM, and also between the plug I of the regulator and plugs No. 1 and No. 14 ECM. If conductivity takes place, replace the regulator, otherwise execute recovery repair of the corresponding electrical wiring.

Valve check of management of distribution of the moments of injection (TCV)
|
|
- Disconnect an electrical wiring of TCV from TNVD and by means of an ohmmeter measure resistance between plugs K and L of the contact socket. If the result of measurement differs from the required value (11 ± 1.1 Ohms at 20 °C), make sure available conductivity between the plug K and the plug No. 13 ECM. If conductivity takes place, replace the valve, otherwise execute recovery repair of the corresponding electrical wiring.

|
Check of the sensor of position of the distributive piston (TPS)
|
- Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor and check correctness of distribution of resistance between its central and alarm plugs (A-c) and (A-in). The required value in both cases makes 82 ± 2 Ohms at 25 °C. At negative result of check make sure available conductivity between plugs of the TPS socket and the corresponding ECM plugs (S-46, V-53 and A-52). In case of need make recovery repair of the corresponding electrical wiring, or replace the sensor.

Check of the TNVD RPM meter (Np)
|
- The socket of the Np sensor is located directly over the TPS socket. Measure resistance between the alarm plug of the sensor (C) and the plug of its grounding (In). If the result of measurement differs from the required value (1.62 ± 0.16 Ohms at 20 °C), make sure available conductivity between plugs B and C of the sensor and plugs No. 38 and No. 30 according to the module of engine management (ECM). In case of need repair an electrical wiring, or replace the sensor.

- Check resistance between plugs of the magnetic valve. The required value makes 8 ± 1.2 Ohms at 23 °C.

- Make sure available conductivity between the case of the magnetic valve (-) and the plug From the electronic regulator (GE).
|
|
|
Check and adjustment of the sensor of position of the accelerator pedal
|
- Start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature.
- Measure tension between sensor plugs C and E on single turns and on full gas. In the first case the result of measurement has to make 0.3 ÷ 1.1 B, in the second: 3.68 ÷ 5.0 Century.
- In case of need make the corresponding adjustment for what disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor and the probe of lezviyny type measure gap size between the lever and an emphasis, - the required value makes 0.45 mm.
- At negative result of the last measurement check conductivity of the sensor, - it has to take place, otherwise release clamping the screw and make the corresponding adjustment.

Checks of nozzles
Check of starting pressure of opening of a nozzle
|
|
- Connect a nozzle to a special tester.
|
- Working with the pump handle of a tester, remove air from a nozzle.
|
- Slowly lowering the handle of a tester consider indications of the manometer connected to the pump, - the indication should be read out at the time of the beginning of emission from a fuel nozzle. If the result of measurement differs from the required value (150 kgfs/cm2), make correction of the moment of the beginning of injection by selection of an adjusting washer (1), - washers are issued in 27 options in the range of thickness from 0.50 mm to 1.54 mm with a step of 0.04 mm. Additive in 0:04 mm provides increase in pressure of injection approximately by 4.8 kgfs/cm2.

Check of tightness of landing of a saddle of the working valve
|
- Check is also made on a special tester.
|
|
Check of the direction of injection and epyura of dispersion
|
- Connect a nozzle to a tester and remove from it air.
- Disconnect (muffle) the manometer and several times sharply lower the pump handle of a tester, visually defining the direction of emission and a configuration of a stream of the fuel which is pushed out through a nozzle nozzle.
|
It is necessary to lower the pump handle with the greatest possible speed, - the nozzle has to make the characteristic whistling sound. |
|
- Fuel has to be sprayed by a nozzle evenly with the narrow angle of disclosure and in strictly coaxially axis of a nozzle.
|
|
|
Check of the executive mechanism of a turbocompressor
|
|
- Disconnect from the executive mechanism of a turbocompressor air шлаг and connect instead of it the pump equipped with the manometer.
Check of serviceability of functioning of the executive mechanism of a turbocompressor, - the rod (1) has to move smoothly
|
- Create pressure of 760 ÷ 800 mm of mercury in the diaphragm case of the executive mechanism. and by means of the dial measuring instrument of plunger type (DTI) measure the size of the course of an executive rod, - the required value makes 1.5 mm. At negative result of check replace assembly of the executive mechanism.
|
Giving on the executive mechanism of excessive pressure can lead to a diaphragm exit out of operation! |
|
|
Check of an intermediate cooler of air of pressurization (Intercooler)
|
- Visually examine the intercooler heat exchanger, checking it for existence of cracks, deformations and other mechanical damages.
- Check tightness of the heat exchanger, having given to it air with the excessive pressure of 1 kgf/cm2.
|
|
