12.5.3. Check of a pressure of the steering pump

Do not hold a steering wheel at the working engine in extreme provisions within more than 15 seconds!


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the pressure head line of a hydraulic path from a case of the steering mechanism and connect to it measuring set, - the gate from set has to be connected on the party of the steering mechanism. Nipple connections it is necessary to tighten 31 ÷ 47 Nanometers with effort.

3 — the Thermometer (50 ÷ 60 °C)

  1. Perform the pumpings procedure of a hydraulic path (see the Section Removal of Air from a working path of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel).
  2. Completely open the gate the gate connected to system, then start the engine and several times turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop for the purpose of warming up of hydraulic liquid up to the normal working temperature (50 ÷ 60 °C).
  3. Lift engine turns to value 1000 ÷ 1500 in a minute, close the gate and consider the indication of the manometer, - the required value makes 6860 ± 98 kPa (70 ± 1 kgfs/cm2).
  4. Close the gate and at -1 engine working with turns of 1000 ÷ 1500 min. turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop, - the indication of the manometer has to remain the same.

In order to avoid an overheat of hydraulic liquid do not hold the gate closed more than within 15 seconds!

  1. Kill the engine, disconnect the manometer and the gate and restore initial connection of hydraulic lines, having tightened nipple sockets with the required effort (31 ÷ 47 Nanometers).
  2. In conclusion "pump over" a hydraulic path (see the Section Removal of Air from a working path of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel).
