12.3. Forward suspension bracket

General information

Forward suspension bracket independent, two-lever, with the stabilizer of cross stability. Rotary fists of a pribolchena to the spherical support of the top and lower cross levers of a suspension bracket working in unison with each other forming the virtual pivot axle (an axis of turn of a wheel).

Rack-mount assemblies consist of the double-thread gas-oil shock-absorbers and screw springs clamped between the top and lower plates. The top ends of shock-absorbers are equipped with the rubber buffers acting over the top plates of the springs, by means of three nuts fastening to speakers over beams of a frame of basic knots. Access to the top support is provided from a motive compartment through special apertures in mudguards of wheel arches. The lower ends of shock-absorbers are built in the lower plates of springs and are clamped in the two-section forks fixed on the lower levers of a suspension bracket by means of axial bolts which forward ends are equipped with spherical tips to which the bar of the stabilizer of cross stability fastens.

Minimization of lists and raskachivaniye of a front of a body during maneuvering is provided due to use of the stabilizer of cross stability. The ends made from springing steel of a bar of the stabilizer fasten to spherical fingers of hinged assemblies of axial bolts of fastening of racks of a suspension bracket, the middle part of a bar by means of the racks equipped with rubber plugs is fixed on a cross beam of a frame of the car.
