12.3.3. Removal, check of a condition of components and installation of the stabilizer of cross stability

Removal

Details of installation of the stabilizer of cross stability are shown on an illustration of the Detail of installation of the stabilizer of cross stability of a forward suspension bracket.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Hang out the car above the ground.
  2. Remove forward wheels.
  3. Remove elements of protection of a case.
  4. Turn out bolts of fastening of racks of the stabilizer to a frame.

  1. Give nuts of fastening of a bar of the stabilizer to spherical fingers of tips of axial bolts of forks of racks on the lower levers of a suspension bracket.

2 — the Sharovy hinge of fastening of the stabilizer to the lever of a forward suspension bracket
  1. Turn out fixing bolts and remove from a bar of a rack and collars of their fastening.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Clear stabilizer components of dirt and check metal details for existence of cracks, deformations and other mechanical damages. Estimate a condition of rubber plugs of racks of the stabilizer.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Bring the top ends of racks (1) stabilizer to the basic arms on a frame and freely tighten fixing bolts.
  1. Hook on collars (2) for the bases of racks (1).
  1. Previously having moistened in soap solution, put rubber plugs on a stabilizer bar and place them correctly of the landing tags which are rather put with yellow or white paint.
  1. Bring a bar to collars and on couple of rounds of a carving screw homutny bolts.
  2. Put the ends of a bar on spherical fingers of tips of axial bolts of racks and, holding heads, tighten fixing nuts with the required effort (43 ÷ 45 Nanometers).
  3. Tighten with the required effort homutny bolts of racks (21.5 ÷ 26.5 Nanometers), then bolts of fastening of racks to a frame (37 ÷ 46 Nanometers).
  4. Establish protection of a case, wheel and lower the car on the earth. Do not forget to tighten wheel bolts.
