12.4.3. Removal, check and installation of shock-absorbers and screw springs
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
Hang out the car above the ground.
Remove back wheels.
Prop up a jack the relevant side of the back bridge.
Release two top fixing nuts (1). Fastenings of the back shock-absorber (2).
Remove the top washer and rubber laying.
Turn out the lower fixing bolt.

Slowly lower the bridge on a jack and remove the shock-absorber and a screw spring.
Remove from a frame the top rubber saddle (1) of a spring and a rubber emphasis (2).
Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER
Check the shock-absorber and a screw spring for existence of deformations, chips, cracks and other mechanical damages.
Manually check smoothness and uniformity of a piston stroke of the shock-absorber in both directions.
Having rocked a piston rod not less than three times, make sure of lack of signs of development of leaks.
Estimate a condition of rubber components - the plug of the lower support of the shock-absorber, a saddle of a spring and an emphasis.
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
Installation is made upside-down, - track observance of requirements of Specifications of the Head Podvesk and steering to efforts of tightening of carving fixture.
Screw springs have to be established by the rounds trimmed with a polymeric covering down.
