- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
- Merge ATF (see the Head the Current leaving and service), - do not forget to screw into place a drain stopper.
- Working through a motive compartment, disconnect a driving cable from transmission.
- Turn out two fixing screws and remove back section of a console ware box.
- Turn out three fixing screws and remove forward section of a console ware box.
- Transfer to neutral situation and remove the lever of switching of the modes of the transfer case (see the Head the Transmission line).
- Remove the AT selector lever (see the Section Removal and installation of the lever of the AT selector).
- Having marked the landing provision of connecting flanges, release fastening bolts to the transfer case of forward and back driveshafts.
- Disconnect tubes of a path of cooling of ATF from a radiator of the cooling system and transmission.
- Disconnect an electrical wiring from VSS and sensors switches of fires of a backing and the indicator 4WD.
- Remove a starter (see the Head Sistemy of electric equipment of the engine).
- Turn out bolts of fastening of the transfer case.
- Turn out bolts of fastening of AT to the engine.
- Poddomkratte transmission jack basic cross beam.
- Turn out bolts of fastening of a cross beam, then omit also transmission assembly and take it from under the car.
- Separate the transfer case and a basic beam from AT.
- Carefully smooth out the interfaced surfaces, prepare fresh landing sealant.
- Installation is made upside-down, track observance of requirements of Specifications of the Head Automatic transmission to efforts of tightening of carving fixture. At connection to the transfer case of driveshafts track correctness of combination of the landing tags put in the course of dismantle.
