9.6. Check and adjustment of a driving cable of AT

Check

- Visually check a condition of a cover of a cable, - in case of identification of damages make replacement.
- Squeeze out against the stop the accelerator pedal and make sure of completeness of opening of butterfly valves of the engine. In case of need make the corresponding adjustment.

Adjustment

- Wring out a rubber boot and slightly to the left, - before emergence of feeling of easy resistance, - extend and fix the cable core.
- Measure the size of a control gap, - the required value makes 0.8 ÷ 1.5 mm. In case of need release a lock-nut and make the corresponding adjustment by rotation in the corresponding direction of an adjusting nut. In conclusion do not forget to tighten a lock-nut with the required effort (2 ÷ 3 Nanometers).
