- Without suppressing the engine, tire out the car on a platform / a viewing hole, or hang out it on the elevator.
- Attentively examine reception section of system of release, checking it for existence of signs of leak of the fulfilled gases.
- Also check the catalytic converter for leaks, - in view of existence of the thermofilter in this case it is necessary to make check and hearing.
- Examine the muffler, connecting and final sections, - the pipe connecting the catalytic converter to the muffler is also equipped with the thermofilter.
- Kill the engine and wait for full cooling of components of system of production of the fulfilled gases.

Do not touch the thermofilter of the catalytic converter at the working engine at all! Remember that the converter remains hot during even rather long time after an engine stop! |
