Systems of ventilation, heating and air conditioning

Panel of switches

The scheme of distribution of the air given to salon

The control panel of functioning of systems of ventilation, heating and air conditioning is shown on an illustration (see the Part the car Equipment, an arrangement of devices and governing bodies). In the same place location of K/V switches and the mode of air circulation is shown.

Three rotary handles designated by the inscriptions TEMP, FAN and MODE are a part of the panel.

The TEMP handle in the left part of the panel is intended for the choice of the temperature condition given via air dashboard deflectors.

In the center of the panel the handle of the regulator of speed of rotation of the fan of a heater (FAN) having four fixed situation is located:

OFF — the Fan is switched off.

1 — the Low-speed mode.

2 — the Mode of normal functioning.

3 — the First high-speed mode.

4 — the Second high-speed mode (the maximum frequency of rotation).

The fan of a heater functions only at the included ignition.

In the right part of the panel the five-position handle of the choice of the directions of distribution of air (MODE) is located:

— Air supply on front level, - in addition the direction of an air stream can be adjusted by means of updating of the provision of deflectors.

— Air supply on front level and in foot wells, - in addition the direction of the top air stream can be adjusted by means of updating of the provision of deflectors. In foot wells warmer air moves, except a case when the corresponding regulator is turned out in extreme left situation.

— Air supply in foot wells. The most part of air comes to forward foot wells, smaller - on having blown in side glasses.

— Air supply in foot wells and on having blown in a windshield, - the conditioner for the purpose of ensuring the fastest removal of condensate is automatically activated. Air is distributed evenly in the stipulated directions with preservation of a weak obduv of side glasses.

— Air supply on having blown in a windshield, - the conditioner for the purpose of ensuring the fastest removal of condensate is automatically activated. The air stream is distributed between deflectors of an obduv wind (most part) and side (a smaller part) glasses.

Two more switches concerning functioning of systems of ventilation/conditioning of salon enter into structure of the group of switches located directly over the control panel: the K/V switch and the switch of the mode of air circulation (see the Section Governing bodies and the equipment of salon).

By means of the K/V switch designated by the pictogram with the image of a snowflake activation/deactivation of the conditioner is made. For activation of the compressor once press the switch button, - the light indicator which is built in it has to light up. Shutdown To/in is made by repeated pressing the button.

Activation of the mode of circulation () (the indicator which is built in the switch burns) brings to shutdown of giving into salon of fresh air. Repeated pressing the switch button (the indicator does not burn) allows to restore air supply.

Long use of the mode of circulation, especially at disconnected To/in, leads to fogging of glasses and increase in a spertost of air therefore it is recommended to activate this mode only in case of the valid need and for rather short time, for example, at the movement on the area with the smoke-filled or gas-polluted atmosphere. As soon as need of isolation of salon disappears, supply of fresh air has to be resumed.

Methods of operation

Ventilation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Turn the handle of the choice of the directions of distribution of air in situation and make sure that the mode of air circulation is switched off. By means of regulators of the choice of temperature condition and speed of rotation of the fan create comfortable conditions in salon.

Heating

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Turn the handle of the choice of the directions of distribution of air in situation and include the air circulation mode. By means of regulators of the choice of temperature condition and speed of rotation of the fan create in salon comfortable conditions, in need of removal of condensate from glasses, in addition activate К/В. If when heating salon it is required that air arrived as well on front level, turn the corresponding handle in situation.

Removal of condensate from glasses

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Turn the handle of the choice of the directions of distribution of air in situation and make sure that the mode of air circulation is switched off. By means of regulators of the choice of temperature condition and speed of rotation of the fan create comfortable conditions in salon. For the purpose of achievement of maximum efficiency of removal of hoarfrost from glasses turn regulators of temperature condition and speed of rotation of the fan in extreme right situation.
If it is required that air came also to foot wells, turn the handle of the choice of the direction of distribution in situation.

Air conditioning

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Start the engine and activate To/in from the console push-button switch (see the Section Governing bodies and the equipment of salon). Turn the handle of the choice of the direction of distribution in situation. By means of regulators of the choice of temperature condition and speed of rotation of the fan create comfortable conditions in salon. For the accelerated cooling of salon turn the regulator of the choice of temperature condition extreme left situation and activate from the corresponding button (see the Section Governing bodies and the equipment of salon) the air circulation mode, the fan start on the maximum turns.

When using To/in at the movement uphill, and also in other road conditions requiring high return of power from the engine you monitor indications of the measuring instrument of temperature of the engine and try not to allow an overheat of the last. In case of need switch off К/В.

Additional information, recommendations

At a strong overheat of the car during the parking in the sun in hot weather let out the hot air from salon, having opened all windows.
For removal of the condensate which is formed on inside of glasses in rainy weather activate one of two modes of functioning of system (or), or start To/in from its main switch (see the Section Governing bodies and the equipment of salon).
For maintenance of components of a refrigerator path To/in in working order, start the compressor for several minutes at least once a month even if need for air conditioning is absent.
It is not necessary to worry if after intensive use To/in from a threshold of the right forward door water begins to drip, - it is a sign of the normal state of a drainage drain of the condenser.
In case of an engine overheat functioning of the K/V system can automatically be blocked. When temperature of cooling liquid decreases to normal value functioning of the compressor will be resumed.

Automatic temporary switching off of the K/V compressor happens as well at full squeezing of the accelerator pedal.
