2.1. First 1500 km
Careful attitude to the power unit at the initial stage of operation of the vehicle is the key to reliable and effective functioning during everything the remained term of its service announced by producers.
The first 1500 km of a run it is necessary to try to carry out the movement with a variable speed and with frequent change of turns of the engine within admissible range.
Avoid at the initial stage of operation of the raised loadings leading to need of full opening of a butterfly valve try not to exceed values in 2/3 from the extreme admissible frequency of rotation of a bent shaft at the movement on the chosen transfer (red range of a scale of a tachometer).
Whenever possible, try to avoid squeezing of the accelerator pedal with overcoming a point of resistance leading to activation of the kickdown mode.
Avoid manual switching to more low gears for the purpose of braking by the engine. On models from AT you transfer the selector lever to provisions of restriction of ranges of switching only in cases of the valid need (for example, in the mountain area).
After the first 1500 km of a run it is possible to increase the speed of the movement and pace of the engine gradually to extreme values.
