Couplings of a free wheeling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn out fixing bolts, throw off washers and remove the coupling from a brake disk.
  1. By means of special nippers remove a lock ring and take a remote washer.
  1. Turn out two fixing screws and remove an adjusting plate.
  1. Installation is made upside-down, - the lock ring before installation should be greased on both sides with jellied lubricant, apply sealant of type 3 bond No 1104 on the landing surface of the case of the coupling. Track also observance of requirements of Specifications of the Head the Transmission line to efforts of tightening of carving fixture (bolts of fastening of the coupling drag on in two steps).

Stupichny assemblies

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the coupling of a free wheeling and its adjusting components.
  2. Give a stupichny nut and remove a brake disk (see the Head the Brake system).
  1. Remove stupichny assembly.
  1. Having hooked the screw-driver, take an epiploon from stupichny assembly.
  1. By means of a special stripper take internal and external bearings, and also their external holders from a nave.
  1. Estimate a condition of stupichny bolts, - replace the damaged components.
  1. Vypressovyvany stupichny bolt.
  1. Zapressovyvany new stupichny bolt.
  1. Fill wheel bearings lubricant and by means of suitable mandrels begin to knock them in stupichny assembly.
  2. By means of a mandrel put a new epiploon in stupichny assembly.
  1. Grease sealing edges of an epiploon and bearing surfaces and establish stupichny assembly on the regular place.
  1. Establish into place a brake disk and by means of special adaptation tighten a stupichny nut so that it could be released manually.
  1. By means of a dynamometer measuring effort of a pretightness of bearings, finally tighten a stupichny nut according to requirements of Specifications of the Head the Transmission line.
  1. In conclusion measure the size of a side beating of a brake disk (see an illustration), - in case of need (see Specifications to the Head the Brake system) pierce, or replace a disk.

Brake board

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn out fixing bolts and remove a brake board.
  1. Installation is made upside-down, - track observance of requirements of Specifications of the Head the Transmission line to efforts of tightening of carving fixture.

Rotary fists

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Give a nut of a coupling bolt, remove a spring washer, take a bolt and release a sharovy finger of a support of the top lever of a suspension bracket from a rotary fist.
  1. Take the forelock of fixing of a spherical finger of a tip of steering draft and by means of a special stripper release a finger from a rotary fist.
  1. Extraction of the forelock of fixing of a spherical finger of a tip of steering draft.
  1. Vypressovyvany a spherical finger of a tip of steering draft from a rotary fist.
  1. By means of a stripper to a vypressuyta from a rotary fist a spherical support of the lower lever of a suspension bracket.
  1. Remove a rotary fist.
  1. Having hooked the screw-driver, take an internal epiploon from a rotary fist.
  1. By means of a special stripper (the hammer with sliding brisk) take the needle bearing from assembly of a rotary fist. Visually estimate a bearing condition, in case of identification of signs of wear and mechanical damages prepare replacement.
  1. Study a condition of elements of a rotary fist, - in case of identification of signs of excessive wear or mechanical damages prepare replaceable assembly.
  1. By means of a suitable mandrel begin to knock the needle bearing in a rotary fist.
  1. By means of a mandrel put the NEW epiploon in a fist.
  1. Grease sealing edges of an epiploon (2) and the needle bearing (1).
  1. Having greased on both sides, put a remote washer on a pin of a power shaft.
  1. Put assembly of a rotary fist on a shaft pin and fill fingers of the top and lower spherical support, and also a tip of steering draft in reception openings.
  2. Tighten fixing nuts with the required effort (see Specifications of the Head the Transmission line) and record them NEW forelocks, - under a nut of a coupling bolt of fastening of the top lever of a suspension bracket do not forget to enclose a spring washer.

Power shafts

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a rotary fist.
  1. Release a nut of an axial bolt of fastening of a fork of the lower support of a rack to the lower lever of a suspension bracket.
  1. Release nuts of the top coupling bolts of a fork.
  1. By means of the hammer with soft brisk open the top clip of a fork.
  1. Mark the provision of a power shaft concerning a case of differential and take it from the last, having hooked the suitable lever, - try not to damage a lock ring and a boot of hinged assembly.
  1. Installation is made upside-down, - track observance of requirements of Specifications of the Head the Transmission line to efforts of tightening of carving fixture.

Output shaft of a reducer and its basic bearing

At removal act as numbering of components.

Order of dismantle of components at removal of an output shaft of a reducer of the forward bridge (the left power shaft is removed)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the left power shaft.
  1. Turn out bolts of fastening of a casing of the bearing to a bridge case sleeve.
  1. Release an output shaft from a side gear wheel of differential, take it from a sleeve, then remove a sealing ring from the back party of a casing of the bearing.
  1. Clamp a shaft in a vice with soft sponges and by means of suitable nippers remove a lock ring from its pin.
  1. Having hooked the screw-driver, take an old epiploon from a bearing casing.
  1. Release an output shaft from a bearing casing.
  1. Vypressuyte from a casing the bearing.
  1. Attentively examine an output shaft, studying it on existence of mechanical damages. Check smoothness and noiselessness of the course of the bearing.
  2. Examine a bearing casing on existence of cracks and other damages.
  3. Prepare replaceable sealing components (an epiploon and a sealing ring).
  1. By means of a suitable mandrel put the NEW epiploon in a reception nest of a casing, - do not forget to grease an epiploon before installation.
  1. Press an output shaft in the bearing.
  1. Press the bearing with the shaft put in it in a casing.
  1. Slightly tap an epiploon the hammer with soft brisk, then fill the NEW sealing ring in a reception flute of a casing.
  2. Record a shaft the NEW lock ring.
  3. Fill a shaft in a bridge case sleeve, having entered it into gearing with vents of a side gear wheel of differential, then screw and tighten with the required effort (see Specifications of the Head the Transmission line) bolts of fastening of a casing of the bearing.

Reducer (assembly of the main transfer with differential and an output shaft)

At removal act as numbering of components.

  2. Merge oil from a differential case (see the Head the Current leaving and service).
  3. Disconnect from the forward bridge the driveshaft (see the Part Driveshafts).
  4. Remove at first the left, then right power shafts.
  5. Prop up assembly of a reducer of the forward bridge a cart jack.
  1. Turn out basic bolts and remove reduktorny assembly.
  1. In case of need remove a basic arm and make replacement of its rubber plug.
  1. In case of need make dismantling of a reducer, - act as numbering of components, - special strippers will be required.
  2. Assembly and installation are made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components, - track observance of requirements of Specifications of the Head the Transmission line to efforts of tightening of carving fixture, do not forget to replace sealing elements.

Half shafts

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Hang out the car above the ground.
  2. Remove the brake drum (see the Head the Brake system).
  1. Give nuts of fastening of the holder of an epiploon.
  1. By means of a stripper (the hammer with sliding brisk) take a half shaft from a sleeve of a case of the back bridge.
  1. Clamp a half shaft in a vice with soft sponges and by means of a chisel dismantle a lock nut and a lock washer from a shaft.

The nut of the right half shaft is released by rotation counterclockwise, left - clockwise! The left nut is marked by a letter of "L".

  1. Lay the removed shaft in prisms and by means of the measuring instrument of plunger type check it for existence of a bend. If the size of a radial beating exceeds extreme admissible value (1 mm), replace a half shaft.
  1. Installation is made upside-down, - pay attention that the right and left half shafts differ on length (see Specifications of the Head the Transmission line). Track correctness of orientation of the holder of an epiploon and observance of requirements of Specifications of the Head the Transmission line to efforts of tightening of carving fixture.

Reducer (assembly of the main transfer with differential)

At removal act as numbering of components.

  1. On cars of the corresponding complete set disconnect an electrical wiring from the back ABS sensor. Remove the sensor.
  1. Turn out fixing bolts and remove reduktorny assembly from a case of the back bridge.
  1. In case of need make dismantling of a reducer, - act as numbering of components, - special strippers will be required.
  2. Performance of assembly and adjustments of a reducer should be charged to experts HUNDRED.
  3. Installation are made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components, - track observance of requirements of Specifications of the Head the Transmission line to efforts of tightening of carving fixture, do not forget to replace sealing elements.
